The “Libreria Toletta” book shop was founded in 1933 and is the oldest book shop in Venice. Along with new publications and best sellers, the “Toletta” offers thousands of classics from the most known and appreciated Italian publishing houses. Besides the great offer of Italian books and academic books targeting the university students of the area, this book store also offers a selection of English books, guides, and best sellers.
Socially very active, the “Libreria Toletta” organizes since 2004 many conferences and debates in Venice all through the year and has even become a very active editor since 2008, with over 150 publications as of 2016.
Soon the Toletta will also launch the first cultural cafè of the city… stay tuned!
