Venetian Dreams, Murano Glass Jewelry

600 400 Venezia Autentica | Discover and Support the Authentic Venice

Venetian Dreams' Murano glass beads jewels are a mix of fine beauty, elegance and complexity all entirely hand made.

Located in Venice close to Campo Sant’Angelo, Venetian Dreams displays wonderful Murano glass beads jewels and creations entirely hand crafted by the “impiraressa” and owner Marisa Convento.
The Venetian word”impiraressa”, or “pearl skewer”, refers to those Venetian women who quickly yet precisely strung thousands of extremely small Murano beads, called “conterie”, creating beautiful and complex glass embroideries.
This traditional and fine art, once practiced by up to 5.000 impiraresse at the end of the ‘800, is now mastered by few people who are still able to create fully artisanal and unique jewels and decorations.
Every craft is the result of hard work, passion and decades long practice that results in truly unique pieces made with thousands of glass pearls and precious Murano beads.
Step into Venetian Dreams and be wowed by the fine beauty, elegance, and complexity of Marisa’s stunning crafts.
