Ae Bricoe

“Ae Bricoe” is an authentic bacaro on the renown Fondamenta degli Ormesini on the district of Cannaregio, that has become a favourite of the locals, despite being open only since 2017.

What are the secrets that led this traditional wine bar to be so appreciated by Venetians, in an area that offers plenty of choices? Well, it just ticks all the boxes of what locals look for in an authentic local wine bar!

“Ae bricoe”, in fact, is a small, rustic but cozy bacaro, that offers delicious cichetti (finger food) and panini made with local products, a selection of regional wines and local beers, very competitive prices, and is run with passion and competence by three siblings.

Federica, Davide and Stefania wanted to create a bacaro that could be the reference for whoever is looking for the quality and ambient of a traditional Venetian wine bar, from the products to the wine, and from to the wooden ambient to the familiar service.

“Ae bricoe” has everything to entice the gourmet wanting to try local salamies and mortadella or special local cheeses made with peppermint, herbs or even redwine, but is also a go-to place for the local worker in need of a big panino stuffed with local products of his choice, as well as for the teenager in need of a quick ‘tramezzino’ on his way back home after school.
