This “torrefazione”, or coffee beans roaster, was founded in Venice in the district of Cannaregio in 1930. For over 85 years, the Torrefazione Cannaregio has been focusing on the making of great coffee with the best Arabica beans and is currently the last roastery producing coffee in the very heart of Venice. Today, it has moved from its first location next to the Guglie bridge to a new and bigger location on the Fondamenta degli Ormesini, next to the Ghetto bridge.
