Over 30 years ago, Paolo started working as an artisan to craft unique products with his own hands. In the beginning, Paolo focused exclusively on ancient traditional bookbinding but soon discovered his attraction for colors.
All crafts at “Il Pavone” are made or decorated entirely by Paolo in his shop/workshop, with his own marbled paper, a technique dating back over 1000 years ago.
Paolo’s passion for strong and vivid colors influences all his handmade works, from frames to diaries, baskets, pencils, and bookmarks.
