In his shop “Mistero Buffo” in the district of Dorsoduro, Leonardo handcrafts typical Venetian Carnival Masks and Commedia Dell’Arte masks with papier-mâché, as it is done since several hundred years in Venice.
Besides beautiful handcrafted classic masks of the Venetian tradition, Leonardo also creates elegant reliefs with animals and ancient symbols like those that adorn some of the wonderful palaces of Venice, but made of papier-mâché, resulting in a very light yet resistant craft which makes for a perfect home decoration.
