Treat your eyes to a wonderfully white world of paper with beautiful paper crafts created by a worldclass paper artist
If there is one thing we know for sure, it’s that the moment you will enter Fernando’s shop, your jaw will drop: your eyes will admire a white world of paper, created after years of research and practice by one of the very few masters capable of transforming paper to their desire.
Since its invention in China thousands of years ago, in 105 C.E, paper has been considered one of the highest forms of art and craft over the centuries and multiple cultures, spanning from China, to Japan and Korea, and reaching Europe and Italy in the XII Century.
Since 1989, Fernando’s work is to free paper from being used only as a support and to use it instead also as a noble material to sculpt and carve art, to deliver precious messages, to wear or to decorate your house with.
This variety of application for the paper is possible thanks to the entirely artisanal process that Fernando follows to turn dehydrated cotton cellulose into fabulous paper that meets his demands, whether it is to build a robust chandelier or to create a classical relief on a fine bookmark for your favorite books.
If you’re looking for rare crafts and you’re sensitive to very fine beauty, you should not miss visiting “Cartavenezia Paper Art”.
