In this beautiful workshop close to the Rialto Bridge in Venice, however, each pair of shoes is entirely made by hand, precisely tailored on the foot of the customer, creating a work of art that is fully customized and, literally, one-of-a-kind.

Giovanna believes that the work of artisans is to turn dreams into reality, and a true artisan is a person who listens to the dreams of others and is capable of transforming them into something real. Respecting the precise requests of her customers, or helping in the creative process, Giovanna’s decorations with nylon blossoms, cobra heads, pistils and frills turn these creations into a wearable sculptural work.
